The app delays approximately 1 or 2 days of assignments and you’ll find yourself shocked that you have tones of work… it is only an issue if your not productive enough other than that it’s useful just don’t rely on it as my recommendation
This is absolutely brutal. Instructor sends an email in canvas, posts an assignment, anything and canvas doesn’t send an app notification. Why does educational software always fail to do the basics?

FIX YOUR APP THERES NO REASON WHY IT SHOULD BE GOING DOWN ALL THE TIME
I have used the Canvas app for over a year, and on iOS 18 and 26 it worked great. Of course I was devastated by the app's liquid glass redesign (it was done incredibly poorly), but it worked just fine. Fast forward to today, and a few weeks ago my iPhone 14 broke so I had to find another phone, my "new" phone being on iOS 16. The last compatible version for 16 is 7.13.0, and it was released just over a year ago. You would think that a version from just over a year ago should work just fine, but in reality 7.13.0 is COMPLETELY broken. Nothing works, you can't log in, access the Canvas Network page, not even scanning a QR code works. I found a thread explaining my exact problem, but as you could likely expect, there was absolutely no helpful solution to be found. Furthermore, you can't even add the desktop site as a PWA. My guess is that you're supposed to be forced to use the mobile app, but for users like me that can't actually use the mobile app, it is disgusting. On mobile the deskto

This app is really nice I am in junior high and now going into ninth grade in August so I kind of have too have the app I love the app so much when I’m too lazy too open my computer and sign in I can just go too Canvas on my phone! I love that option but my only complaint is the Too Do List it says I have 50 things too do when I don’t I have them done and submitted and it’s so annoying that I have too have a notifications turned off then I don’t get notified when I have a big test coming up or something like that pls Developers fix that bug other than that thank you so much for an amazing app!!

Not sure why the app has 4.7 stars. After it got hacked all I’ve had is issues. 8 times out of 10 I try to open it and it crashes immediately, really unhelpful overall.
Freezes
I can never just click on the app and it goes straight to my dashboard. The barely loads or comes on when I’m trying to do my assignments on the go. It’s so inconvenient.
Can’t delete off home screen it’s always watching 😳 pretty sure it’s a gimmick though so you can have fun with it only issue is sometimes words are wrong but still good in general.

Even though it takes a bit to get energy my Spanish has gotten better and I’ve only been on Duolingo for two days!
this app is honestly so fun. The only thing I really need to stop is getting asked about super Duolingo but other than this the app is absolutely impressive. Keep it up Duolingo and the World Cup thing. Oh my gosh, this should be best of the year if they even have that stuff.

Ive felt as if the pacing for duo lingo can be extremely rapid. Sometimes I will learn a new word, and then another new word right after. Also, that I never really seem to practice the word that I just learn't, but its only sometimes that happens.

I downloaded the app as we were highly suggested this app; the subscription was enrolled but could not make past the subscription to start the sessions. Their app support was did not help.

I love this app but I gave it 4 stars because it bugs me a lot and if I don’t do a lesson is sends me back to day one and it gets mad at me but I love Duolingo but I wish I could send it something like I cant do my lesson or something and it wouldn’t get mad at me!

Listen, I love Duolingo. I’ve been using the app for years. I recently upgraded from a single plan to a family plan because my daughter wanted to use it. Ever since, every couple of days, the app tries to give me a “free 3 days of Max.” There is no way to decline the offer. You have to click on it and are forced to do the 3 day trial. In a manner to avoid this, as I did the free trial once, and it just is not something I’m interested in, I have close the app and get back in. GIVE ME THE OPTION TO OPT OUT!!!
I was doing one of my Duolingo lessons thinking I had super and then boom are these super smelly ad and also why don’t you put out video call like at least 10 times for free please and thank you. Duo is kind of annoying me. Please fix now now now now now now now or else I will throw my phone out the window
This is so fun you can customize your username and learn a bunch of languages and even Navajo and Hawaiian! And th chess course is really fun 100/10 recommend
