Named after the hundred-eyed watchman of Greek myth, Argus watches the education landscape: spotting new opportunities, pressure-testing the ventures we're building, and tracing every read back to the real-world signals behind it.

I used to love Canvas. I used it every day for my classes and it was so helpful to be able to have open and refer back to when doing reading assignments on my phone. But since the crash, I haven’t been able to log back into it. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading it multiple times and nothing has worked .
HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GET A GOOD SCORE ON A QUIZ WHEN THE DAMN LATE PENALTY IS THERE TO SCREW EVERYTHING UP, FIX THIS
Please correct this when you push the next update! Thank you! As a university student when opening up an assignment page, the rubric only opened when you clicked “rubric”. The current version is different. The current version already has rubric opened when you open up the assignment page, so you must scroll past the rubric the get to the part where you submit an assignment. It’s a messy UI/UX from my perspective. It could complicate learning for new Canvas users and its frustrating current user to close or scroll to get past it. Thank you! =^•^=
Bugs out easily hacked easily and unreliable
It makes no sense my school isn’t even on the school thing i can’t get in my school but in google or safari I can? This to me is a problem i don’t like that I cannot get in my own school because canvas doesn’t have it!
This is why it sucks to do work on it because when you try to sign in, it won’t let you even if you try the pastkey thing where you use your face your fingerprint or your pin to get into your iPad or phone. Also when you do the thing try another way it still won’t work and if you even contact the dumb admin, it doesn’t work. The only thing is you could contact your teacher, but they might not answer or you could do contact the TI which is like the password place, but that’s only the other thing and you wouldn’t want to do that because it takes so long to do so that’s why you wouldn’t wanna do summer work on it and I’m talking about when it says password not the email. The email works so easily. It’s the password that sucks.
Bad
Instructure gets hacked and leaves my private data in the hands of scammers? Absolute joke. I cannot wait for the day I can delete this app and never use it again. DO NOT USE CANVAS IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS!!!
Title says it all. Really sucks. Most of it doesn’t load. Is ugly as hell.
Dashboard shows unfavorited groups but otherwise works fine.
The new update is so slow!!! It takes forever to load everything. The to do list isn’t accurate. If you swap back to the old version, it loads quickly but it doesn’t populate a to do list!!! Why mess with something that worked??? No need for a new look. You should have beta tested it before releasing!
Can’t get past the loading screen after putting in my school name
The only thing I want to see is my classes and they are extremely difficult to find given the new update.
I couldn’t even find my school district.
first they are being hacked , second they sign you out for no reason , third it never works . i dont like canvas what so ever . the submissions barely go through .
Just like the title says every thing is great and other people say it runs smoothly, tracks grades, etc. But there is one problem I would like to suggest, is when you try to do something with the text entry section, and accidentally click the refresh button and it doesn’t save. I wish we have this feature in the app and the website because I know a lot of students gets frustrated with this part, and we typed all of that, just to lose it, so please make this feature that is available for students, not just a feature that is only available for instructors. And any part that has a text entry, like an assignments and/or the discussion part should be an available feature.
I just accidentally update new version and it doesnt work well. For my to do list, now it appears nothing due for me. So I cant track what assignments Im missing.
it doesnt show my school
Used to be good but the new update sucks. My classes never load properly on the dashboard
The functionality is nice, but changing the to-do list made it look and function poorly. After the cybersecurity attack it took weeks until my specific school got at least some stuff back up and running. Zero direct communication to users STILL having issues after weeks.
The new update took off mobile device accessibility on the phone and iPad. When viewing files, the same file viewer from the web version appears, successfully taking away valuable spaces with zoom, page count, expand, download, and it show empty white pages outside the page edge. In addition, you cannot zoom in with your finger to your desire location, you are forced to zoom with the +/- and the page zooms to the edge of the page, and you need to find where you were last time. All of these make the already small documents look smaller on mobile device, and disrupt the instinct to ZOOM IN or OUT with your fingers. The mobile app should be a quick easy way to access materials on the go, If I wanted the web version, I would have use a computer or laptop. The to do list panda and check box is also not needed for many others who would prefer a cleaner page as before. Please enable a system where students can customize how it should look according to accessibility.
Useful for school and everything when it actually works. For me, everything is constantly loading, like the files page, assignments page, announcements page, and the grades page. I either get error messages or it buffers for forever.
Doesn’t load documents correctly. It just shows a bunch of code.
This is one of the most buggy apps I have ever worked with. Anything other than the most basic functions seem to never work reliably and even then, sometimes the app doesn’t work at all. Please take some time to go back through and make sure you existing features work before adding anything else
Discontinuing support for iOS 17? If you’re a poor college student on an old phone that’s tough.
Duolingo has gone next level. Good Japanese tutor for someone practicing for years. Has helped me to advance with lots of common expressions. Much improved over the past.
I love Duolingo, but the hard mode character is such a disincentive. I want to quit every time he pops up. Nobody needs that.
You guys have the best app to learn languages I love this app it’s my favorite keep going guys ❤️🔥
Es muy práctico y explican. Muy bien
Duolingo es de gran ayuda, no dispongo de mucho tiempo para ir a clases presenciales por el momento así que Duo se adapta an mis necesidades, sigo avanzando cada dia!
He aprendido mucho y me. Obligados hacer los ejercicios muy bueno mi amigo Duolingo
Is the best thing you can do because if you really need help with Spanish or any language, you could just download super Duolingo and Duolingo is also free no ads and it really helps you learn and if you don’t know that much Spanish or English or any thing super Duolingo is always here and so is Duolingo and I could teach you test chest too so I hope you get Duolingo cause it’s the best game and learning device ever
It is so sweet and helps u learn new things that u need help with a cute bird
The most practical way to learn or brush up on Spanish.
No Thai. So like this is bad. :(
I am in the process of trying to learn Korean and it told me I had to create a profile before I moved on. Cool I did that then it deleted all my progress and I now have to restart all my progress. Not very happy with that. But overall a good app but it passed me off.
Duolingo is super nice and relaxing but it’s also very exiling in almost anything that I love!
Es divertido pero es para personas que no sepan nada del idioma si quiere conversar no es lo mejor
I love duolingo I would totally recommend it. I've been doing it since I was 5 or 6 and Ive been speaking French fluently for 3 years and I haven't taken a single French course other than duolingo.
i actually used to enjoy doing duolingo because i would rarely ever mess up, and its easy to gain hearts. now that they’ve removed hearts the app is practically unusable unless you pay. i would rather be forced to live without wifi than pay for their subscription. this is so money seeking.
This was ok but all the quests and leagues got in the way of learning and it became getting the most xp and moving up the leagues.
Me ha ayudado mucho en mi aprendizaje, es lo máximo , quiero llegar hasta el final y poder hablar fluido inglés , gracias
Me ayuda mucho a ejercitar
Omg it teach me real languages and now I can speak fluently
Fun but I wish you could get in more time to learn
Actively discourages learning at times with new energy system, limiting how much one can learn in a day and forcing you into micro transactions. Additionally, they have filled the app with, in my opinion, overly flashy junk animations that at times can take longer than even lessons(and truly, who wants to see a birds butt instead of actually learning?). Clearly the focus of the app has shifted from enabling learning to making money as 1 in 3 lessons are locked behind a subscription service, when this app was once free, accurate, detailed, and best of all fast, making it easy to learn throughout the day.
I have mixed feelings about this app because the teaching method is excellent, but the user experience can be incredibly exhausting. On the positive side, this app really works. After speaking almost exclusively in English for so many years, I wanted to relearn my native language. This app made that process incredibly fun and engaging. It successfully helped me bridge the gap, and I am already able to put individual words and phrases back into complete sentences again. For the actual learning content, I would easily give it five stars. However, the notification system completely ruined the experience for me. I recently got sick for a week and simply did not have the mood, energy, or brain capacity to focus on lessons. Instead of giving me space, the app went into overdrive. The non-stop push notifications on my phone and the endless stream of daily emails became way too much to handle. It felt less like a helpful reminder and more like constant harassment and guilt-tripping. Relearning
I appreciate the updates that the app has made over the past year to practice speaking more. Not a fan of having to have a certain charge to practice though. I could be doing really well in a lesson and not have enough charge to finish. Doesn’t make sense to me to lose charge when you are doing well and getting answers correct. Makes me lose momentum. I also don’t have money to pay for unlimited which is frustrating because it feels like that’s what it is directing you towards.
Goated app
Wasnt the best when i got it years ago and now its the worst since yall using a! instead f actual people to help teach different languages and dialects.
