Extracting Knowledge from an Arabic-English Machine-Readable Dictionary Using Information Extraction

Furthermore, electronic language sources such as dictionaries, encyclopedia, and corpora became available. We presented a method to automatically extract lexical information from a machine-readable version of the Arabic-English Al-Mawrid dictionary. We used n-gram analysis and key-word-in-context (KWIC) analysis to discover lexical patterns that manifest morphologic, syntactic, or semantic information. Generating in the Limit with Infinitely Many Hallucinations

Value-Action Alignment in Large Language Models under Privacy-Prosocial Conflict

MedEasy: Designing AI Standardized Patients for Clinical Consultation Training

Semantic Prompting: Agentic Incremental Narrative Refinement through Spatial Semantic Interaction

The Human Creativity Benchmark

In creative domains, professional disagreement reflects genuine differences in taste, not measurement error. We argue that evaluating creative AI requires preserving two distinct signals: convergence, where professionals align around shared best practices, and divergence, where individual taste legitimately varies. Consensus Clustering of Free-Viewing Gaze Data: New Insights into Human-Information Interaction

A French OSCE Dialogue Dataset and Controllable Virtual Patient System for Clinical Training

Making Multimodal LLMs Reliable Chart Data Extractors: A Benchmark and Training Framework

Designing Automation Boundaries for Trustworthy Smart Medication Support

Clinical Feasibility of Smartphone-based EEG in Kenya

A Comparative Study of Student Perspectives on Technical Writing Feedback Quality: Evaluating LLMs, SLMs, and Humans in Computer Science Topics

Mixed-methods analysis of student perceptions reveals that while the local SLM matched commercial LLMs and was rated higher by students for readability and actionability in technical courses, human feedback remained more favoured for highly specialized writing tasks. We demonstrate that local SLMs offer a privacy-preserving, zero-marginal-cost alternative for foundational feedback, supporting a tiered pedagogical framework where AI handles structural guidance while instructors focus on high-level conceptual scaffolding.
