THE NEW UI IS OVERCOMPLICATED IT MAKES IT 10 TIMES HARDER TO KNOW WHAT IS DUE. CHANGE IT BACK TO THE OLD UI FROM EARLY THIS YEAR
Keeps giving me an error
I love this app so much. I use it for my homeschooling every day and it helps me learn so much! I do wanna say, keep the dark mode, and maybe add different versions of colors for the background!

why is this the only way to access canvas on mobile??? canvas for desktop runs just fine as a site but then breaks apart when looked at through mobile. it doesnt even have to be mobile-friendly, just let us use web version instead of this waste of space app.
It says I have 36 ‘to dos’, but I have zero. The 36 never goes away, and it’s driving me insane. Now if I actually get a real notification, I’m not going to believe it. Please fix this.

Doesn’t self refresh. If my professor uploads something new or I join a new course, I have to sign in and out of my account multiple times to be bale to see it. I have missed assignments and almost didn’t drop a class because they simply didn’t appear on my end. Closing the app does nothing. Only thing that works SOMETIMES is signing in and out. Half the time it doesn’t even fix it.
Not cool at all
It helps me lock in for tests and it’s also really nice when your friends make a Quizlet and share it to the group chat
It was great until 90% of it was put behind a paywall. If you can find any other way to use flash cards then use it. This app will soak up your time only to lock your work behind its “plus” subscription.
I don’t like that I have to pay to use all the features of this app. I have used Quizlet in all my years of schooling and it really saddens me that in order to use the learn method more than once you have to pay.
I’m passing more test because of this easy way to make personalized flash cards and other study formats
Very helpful but if I’m a student, I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay for like every feature on the app. Great app though!!

I don’t like the new update :(
I can’t log in. The app gives me an error page each time I try clicking on my institution, so I tried using the QR code and got an error message that way as well. I have cleared the cache as well as deleting the app entirely and redownloading to no avail. When I try clicking on the help page through the app I also get an error page. There is just no being able to use the app and I am stuck using the webpage. Edit: After reading some reviews it looks like this app just doesn’t work on the iPad after the newest update. Come on now Canvas get it together. If you have an app on the App Store then it should be usable by all devices. This is ridiculous. I should be able to use the app from my iPad without having all these issues and it should be the same for everyone else using an iPad.
This app causes depression
Thank you designers for this very helpful app! I’m a college student and when I’m not on my laptop, it’s very helpful to use the app on my phone to check my “To Do” tab. However, now that school has started for me, I noticed that many features of the app are different again. I would love if the ”To Do” tab has the course name in bold again and to use the terms for the due date “Today”, “Tomorrow”, etc.
I despise doing work on canvas. So annoying.
I don’t like how in my to do’s it does show all my assignments. It use to show all of them. I am taking 8 classes that use to help me keep track. Please fix it 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Its boring i already know everything
Great app! Definitely recommend. Super super helpful. However, two things. One, the screens that you see when you’re doing the lessons have too much stuff on it, making it kind of hard to focus on the lesson. I say this with every learning app, try to make the part where you actually learn more like how Duolingo makes it. Gamified to keep people learning, and simple. Other thing. PLEASE add ACT prep. I know you have SAT prep, but ACT prep would be pretty great. I can no longer see the pictures in the lesson icons. Still like the app.
Teaches useless phrases more often than useful ones and despite being very gamifyed winning the contests gives measly rewards even if you get the top place of the highest trophy. Fun but can become a chore with little reward. More addicting but less effective than Rosetta Stone. If you can afford Max the AI chats are decent and short.
This is now the second time i quit this app, i do not like the idea of a "days done in a row" counter (streaks) the gem boxes, the constant popups about an xp boost, friend quest, "have you seen this person? nudge them too keep learning!" the quests, the leaderboards, the AI, the lives, etc. I liked it more some years ago before all of this. Goodbye you dumb green owl
