Why Google Classroom Sucks Google Classroom is honestly one of the worst things ever invented. I would rather do literally anything else than open Google Classroom. Every time I see that little Classroom icon, I already know my day is about to get worse. First of all, it is SO BUGGY. I click on an assignment and it takes forever to load. Then I click it again because I think it didn’t work, and suddenly it opens five times. Sometimes I turn something in and Google Classroom acts like I never did it. BRO, I JUST TURNED IT IN! How am I supposed to prove I did my homework if the app doesn’t even know what is happening? And there is ALWAYS homework. You open the app and BOOM, 17 missing assignments. Like bro, I just got home. Can I breathe for five seconds? Teachers act like we have nothing else to do except stare at Google Classroom all day. I swear they think homework is a hobby. And don’t even get me started on teachers. Some teachers give you one assignment and then randomly add five m

I need classroom for school of course and I need the notifications to keep me on track of my work and assignments but the notifications do nothing. I get a notification that says you have a new assignment so I tap on it and it just takes me to all the classes. It doesn’t take me to the new assignment which is useless. What’s the point of telling me I have an assignment but you don’t tell me what it is and you don’t take me too it? Either way, I still have to have the app for school. The notifications used to say what the assignment was but then it changed. It was much more useful when it actually told me what it was. If you’re gonna change the notifications just make it so they at least take me to the assignment or private comment or announcement. Like you say I have a new assignment, that’s great, what’s the assignment? And you keep changing it. You know that problem where you finish the assignment, but it doesn’t turn in. You just press view instructions and press the button that says submit.🥀
this is the worst app ever it always crashes
I use Google Classroom for warrior cats clans and it’s kind of good. I mean I love how you can edit the banner and all of that stuff. Two major things: People should edit the banner + classroom color without having to delete the app, there should be more color varieties (on the RGB scale), and sometimes whenever I post an assignment it glitches and it stays back to its original spot. That’s it!
Can’t really complain about the app it’s helped me a lot in the past but one thing I would like to see is a widget I can add to my home screen that shows me what assignments are due today or in the future
When we used to receive notifications, it would tell you which class it was for and would take you to it. Now it only shows that you have a notification but you don’t know which class the post is in. I feel like I’m missing information this way. I looked online for a fix for this. I rebooted, toggled my notification button, nothing helps. Update please before the school year begins!

I give this app a 1 star review because of how poor the app is designed. This is nothing about the classroom work or anything, but at thr page where you can remove accounts listed in Google classroom, you can just remove it without needing verification which is terriblely designed. I lost my Google account because of it.
I love this app I just wish the app for MacBook worked like it does on my phone. Hopefully we will be able to use the app on MacBook instead of the browser in the near future.
I love Canvas because it makes it easy to keep track of grades and do assignments. It tells you what your teacher’s names is and it’s just a great website to keep track of due work. You can put any school you are in.✨✨❤️❤️❤️🤓
This app gives me bad memories of the algebra class I took where im pretty sure the teacher though I was mentally delayed + bombed the exam, good app though
Logging into the app is extremely difficult for some reason. It worked fine months ago but i tried logging in again and no matter what school district i pick it shows an error. Trying the QR log in also does not work, i tried refreshing the QR multiple times and each time it gives an error. App is fine for the most part, classes are easy to see and assignments are easy to keep track of.

This app sucks I hate it it sucks so bad don’t download it because it is bad and it sucks I would not recommend it because it is bad and terrible and it sucks
App overall is fine, but every time I try to log into my account on my phone, (QR Code, and searching for my school) An error shows up. And it didn’t start happening until it got hacked, and I had to delete the app from my phone. Sooo, maybe that could be it. But definitely weird, and please fix this!

I love this new update on the app on the phone this is what you called organization and the quotes were needed to keep us moving and the welcoming good morning and good afternoon and good evening with our names is so so great keep it this way next add some themes we can change it to which will be crazy and the app on the laptop and iPad I love it but keep it like that with the little astronaut and the planet so so cute
Just noticed a new update that has some updates. Main difference is the new user friendly dash board, customizable and I love the lay out!
Between getting hacked and having horrible UI updates I cannot wait to graduate and finally be free from this god awful app. Would rate lower if I could.

I can’t login from my iPad from all the errors since the new update. Please fix!
While the app works it keeps repeatedly offering an invitation to the same course, which I was already a member of in canvas to begin with, but it won’t stop asking even if I accept the invitation. Then it will NOT reset or clear announcement counts so it shows I have unread announcements and there’s no real way to tell when there is a legitimately new unread one. It’s also frustrating that I cannot remove old assignments, for example a teacher who gave us an assignment last spring for a group project required that only one member submit the final project. I have to go through all of these old assignments until my school decides to remove me from the course (so when fall semester starts). It makes it appear I have multiple to do items but none are valid, I should be able to delete these myself somehow or mark them as completed without having to submit something. Some professors use assignments to just give us directions for things we do in person and if that professor messes up their a
The update is a step in the right direction! I like that you can choose if you don’t want to have one thing or another on the dashboard! It is slightly confusing right now and i think the thing that needs to be customizable is the themes, similar to “better canvas”.
My to do list is not showing anything even though it says I have 4 things do.
