I can’t log in. The app gives me an error page each time I try clicking on my institution, so I tried using the QR code and got an error message that way as well. I have cleared the cache as well as deleting the app entirely and redownloading to no avail. When I try clicking on the help page through the app I also get an error page. There is just no being able to use the app and I am stuck using the webpage. Edit: After reading some reviews it looks like this app just doesn’t work on the iPad after the newest update. Come on now Canvas get it together. If you have an app on the App Store then it should be usable by all devices. This is ridiculous. I should be able to use the app from my iPad without having all these issues and it should be the same for everyone else using an iPad.
This app causes depression
Thank you designers for this very helpful app! I’m a college student and when I’m not on my laptop, it’s very helpful to use the app on my phone to check my “To Do” tab. However, now that school has started for me, I noticed that many features of the app are different again. I would love if the ”To Do” tab has the course name in bold again and to use the terms for the due date “Today”, “Tomorrow”, etc.
I despise doing work on canvas. So annoying.
I don’t like how in my to do’s it does show all my assignments. It use to show all of them. I am taking 8 classes that use to help me keep track. Please fix it 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great app! Definitely recommend. Super super helpful. However, two things. One, the screens that you see when you’re doing the lessons have too much stuff on it, making it kind of hard to focus on the lesson. I say this with every learning app, try to make the part where you actually learn more like how Duolingo makes it. Gamified to keep people learning, and simple. Other thing. PLEASE add ACT prep. I know you have SAT prep, but ACT prep would be pretty great. I can no longer see the pictures in the lesson icons. Still like the app.
Teaches useless phrases more often than useful ones and despite being very gamifyed winning the contests gives measly rewards even if you get the top place of the highest trophy. Fun but can become a chore with little reward. More addicting but less effective than Rosetta Stone. If you can afford Max the AI chats are decent and short.
This is now the second time i quit this app, i do not like the idea of a "days done in a row" counter (streaks) the gem boxes, the constant popups about an xp boost, friend quest, "have you seen this person? nudge them too keep learning!" the quests, the leaderboards, the AI, the lives, etc. I liked it more some years ago before all of this. Goodbye you dumb green owl

You should be able to make as many mistakes as possible, and it not affect you without having to pay. The quest should not have a certain amount of time because not all of us have that time.
The app is great but I think you should work on how it freezes while you are having a course section. It’s soo bad that now I’m stuck. Kindly work on it ! I like that you listened to this and worked on the app. It’s soo call now. Thank you for the new features
It is super fun! Way better than any other language app I’ve found. Only thing that bothers me is the energy, but you can fix that by watching adds.
I’m doing the German course and I know a few words already. It says that mama and papa are the translation for mom and dad which is wrong.

I couldn’t get Duolingo because it costed too much money, but it seems really good! The only thing is since it costed too much money, I had to delete it and when I pressed delete Duolingo on the app it said really creepily, “Getting rid of Duolingo? …You can never hide from Duo…” (Btw, Duo is the green owl mascot for the app Duolingo. )And it just scared me so bad and I immediately got rid of it. I am literally still traumatized from that! Also, Duo asked for access to my homepage and my widgets so that he can encourage me and watch me earn my daily streaks of learning. Excuse me, “Watch me”?! CREEPY ALERT!!!🚨 If you go to the App Store and look near the bottom there’s one part that will say that they use data to track you. SERIOUSLY, DUO?! Ps, if you need help getting rid of the app Duolingo you have to do some stuff in settings. It took my dad like, more than half an hour just to figure out how to delete Duolingo! I don’t know how he did it, but note; it has something to do with sett
It helps by SO MUCH when it comes for learning! I use it everyday to learn something new, whether it’s Japanese, chess, math or music, I learn it ALL from this! Thank you for making this app! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
There is not much I could say is just a really good app but I just hate how after finishing a lesson we get like the premium thing if u use for free but is what it is very good app!👀

So helpful with my chess and German lessons!! Just wish there were more lessons like crocheting and singing! Hope they add them but if not it’s still amazing and so fun!!

AMAZING APP and very fun!! But one thing i would like to see is having a new language, ecclesiastical latin! Its different from latin, it has different pronunciation. I know its probably SUPER hard to put in a new whole language buuut im pretty sure latin and ecclesiastical latin has the same spelling. Could be wrong

The app has way too much pop ups and affirmations that take up way too much time that could be better spent learning and there is 0 grammar taught in this app, and it there is it is never properly explained to actually enhance your language skills. You will never be able to learn a language properly from this app however it is excellent at providing a first step to a larger goal and the letter learning capabilities for foreign alphabets is unparalleled

It’s a really fun and great way to learn new languages but I only don’t like how it constantly slaps the super Duolingo adds in your face that’s like the only bad thing I can think of other than that it’s a really fun way to learn
